This is a new section where, each month, I will tell you what I think of the cookery books I either own or borrow from friends or the library. Despite owning just shy of 100 books, I regularly seek inspiration in the pages of books I don’t (yet) own. It’s something of an obsession and one I find a little debilitating if I’m honest. I’d love to set myself the challenge of restricting myself to one book per month and cooking only from that, but I get too easily sidetracked by newer, shinier books and often don’t get to fully explore the ones I have.
On the up-side though, it means I can revisit my books again and again and always find something new in them!
